The 96th Midsummer Classic returns to Philadelphia for the first time in 30 years, with Citizens Bank Park hosting the Midsummer Classic for the first time since the stadium opened in 2004. The game is themed around America's Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary of independence), mirroring the 1976 All-Star Game in Philadelphia that celebrated the nation's bicentennial. This marks Philadelphia's fifth time hosting the All-Star Game (previously 1943, 1952, 1976, 1996). The American League and National League rosters will be managed by John Schneider of the Toronto Blue Jays for the American League and Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League. The 42,901-capacity ballpark will be packed with fans from across the country — All-Star Game tickets are among the most sought-after in baseball.
2026 MLB All-Star Game Tickets
Primary-sale tickets for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game have long been sold out, but verified resale markets carry ticket inventory for fans willing to pay premium pricing. Current resale price estimates: $300-$3000+ on resale markets (premium event pricing), with lower-deck and field-level seats commanding the highest prices.
Ticket-buying tips: All-Star Game prices typically drop in the 48 hours before first pitch as resale sellers reduce inventory rather than absorb fees on unsold tickets. If you're flexible on seat location, monitor pricing through July 12-13. Game-day walk-up purchases are not available — all sales are mobile-ticket only.
Looking for the Home Run Derby instead? The T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday, July 13 typically sells at 40-60% of All-Star Game ticket prices, making it a more accessible way to attend a marquee All-Star Week event.
How to Watch the 2026 All-Star Game
The 2026 MLB All-Star Game broadcasts on FOX at 8:00 PM ET on Tuesday, July 14. The booth: Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Ken Rosenthal, and Tom Verducci. Radio coverage on ESPN Radio with Karl Ravech, Doug Glanville, and Tim Kurkjian.
For cord cutters: FOX broadcasts are free over-the-air with any HD antenna and are also carried by the major live-TV streaming services — YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, DirecTV Stream, and Sling Blue all include FOX in their core packages. The game is not blacked out on MLB.tv the way regular-season games are, but it is also not exclusive to MLB.tv either — subscribers can watch via the FOX broadcast just like everyone else.
For international fans: SportsNet carries the simulcast in Canada, with MLB International handling distribution worldwide. Check local listings for your country's broadcast partner.

T-Mobile Home Run Derby: Monday, July 13
The 2026 T-Mobile Home Run Derby airs Monday, July 13 at 8:00 PM ET on ESPN, with eight of MLB's premier power hitters competing in MLB's most popular non-game spectacle. The Derby has become a marquee event in its own right — ratings often rival the All-Star Game itself.
Participants TBD. MLB typically announces the eight Home Run Derby competitors in late June or early July, often rolling out invitations one at a time over a 7-10 day window. We'll update this page with the full field as confirmations come in.
Format: Each round of the Derby gives hitters a 3-minute timed period (4 minutes for older rounds) to launch as many home runs as possible. The longest home run of each round earns a 30-second bonus. Eight hitters become four, then two, then a champion in three rounds of head-to-head bracket competition.
